|Based in Peterborough, McIntyre Electrical Limited is a leading national supplier of electrical, fire safety and security services for the Social Housing sector. The Company employs over 200 people and has an ambitious growth plan to double its size over the next few years.|
|This is a role that will include the maintenance and repair of domestic systems and facilitating the Health & Safety procedures and requirements within the contract, whilst providing technical advice to both our employees and clients.|
|Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring|
|Assess the parts needed for a job and place orders for those parts.|
|Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, including in fire alarms and security systems.|
|Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms.|
|Work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.|
|Installation of electrical systems and ability to carry out completion tests and periodic testing.|
|Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.|
|Conduct regular van stock checks and liaise with the Electrical Technical Supervisor and Procurement Department to keep replenished and appropriately stocked.|
|Having a Health and Safety mindset, looking at possible risks associated with the role and reporting any issues promptly to support the ongoing safety of self and others.|

|Previous Electrical Experience, Lighting, Wiring, Alarm Systems, Fire Prevention Systems.|
City and Guilds level 2 & 3 Electrical installations.
To be an Electrical Tester, ideally hold City & Guilds 2391.
Up-to-date with current standard BS7671, 18th Edition BS7671 desirable,
ECS / JIB Gold Card.
Full UK Clean Driving Licence.
